AVEX is trolling [possible DBSK reunion???]

I read about this yesterday but my crappy internet connection won’t let me log in into wordpress. U crappy internet connection!!! Ehem.. ‘nway, this is the not-so-fresh news from Allkpop

Recent news on the possibility of TVXQ‘s reunion is sending shockwaves throughout the industry.

On January 22nd, a Japanese article titled, “Will Avex act as the savior? TVXQ’s reunion project” surfaced. It reported of rumors of a reunion concert at Tokyo Dome orchestrated by Avex, who was previously accused of hindering JYJ‘s Japanese activities. In light of Avex’s recent under-performing releases, it is said that they are willing to go head with this project and stop hindering JYJ’s Japanese activities. Japanese superstar Ayumi Hamasaki is rumored to be negotiating on behalf of both sides.

While the news of a possible reunion is being met with enthusiasm by fans all over the world, many are skeptical of the chances of such a reunion actually occurring. The fact that this reunion is being orchestrated by Avex instead of SM Entertainment is also a cause of skepticism.

The article goes on to state, “While the reunion of TVXQ is something that many fans are waiting, the small possibility of this actually happening is an indicator of Avex’s desperation,” hinting that Avex’s recent lack of success may be reason for pursuing such an unlikely project.

TVXQ fans responded to the news with, “While it would be great if reunion happens, it seems unlikely“, “They say Avex will lead the project but I can’t trust them“, and “I hope they stop writing these pointless reunion articles“.

As no official statements have been released from any parties, it’s important to wait for these rumors and speculations to be confirmed. Stay tuned to allkpop as we await developments on this matter.

AVEX, STOP TROLLING!!!!

As much I want they to kiss and make up, I also being a realist. I don’t think it possible right now. Unless Avex plan is 5-10 years long-term plan, then maybe. But not now. And I don’t think JYJ will agree so easily, especially after Avex put JYJ on so much shit. I don’t think this is possible and if Avex want JYJ, then they must cut ties with SME and that not going to happen.  They lost SNSD and I willing to bet my soul (is there any left??) they will do whatever it takes not to lose Homin. And I don’t think SME will put on with Avex shit and let Homin work with JYJ anyway.  Even if we assume both companies are fine with that plan, the boys are not. Unless they want the 5 of them start throwing things and punches and hurtful word to each other (again), I don’t see this happening. Pffftt…Bitch please, stop dragging ma queen Ayu into this okay. And I hate you Avex, for playing with fans hope like this. STOP TROLLING!!!!!

DBSK did not disband in an amicable manner like, SS501 for example. If they wanna reunited and start as 5 again, It will take YEARS for them to make up and reconcile. All those unsaid feelings, those hurtful words, misunderstanding, anger and whatnot need to be resolved before they can work together again.  This past 2 years, both sides had move on and start/restart/ continue with their lives.  This only open up the wounds and I sincerely hope no stupid news agencies running after them and asking ‘how you feeling hearing this rumor?’.

 

 

Infinite’s L cried and break this noona’s heart

During the new year episode of Birth of Family, Infinite L cried after reading the letter that his mother wrote. You can watch it here. My advice: watched L’s segment first before Dongwoo’s. Gah…. Watching  him cried like that really break this noona’s heart. Probably because it is so different from his cool stage image or his playfull image off-screen.  Seeing him cried like that reminds me that he just a kid after all. He looked like a lost kid there. Luckily his mother is there to hug him. Aigooo. He must missed his family dearly. I hope L and his mother had a good talk after that. That boy really need a big bear hug. The way he just burst and cried makes me feel like he kept things to himself. And poor Sungyeol crying by himself, he must be sad his mother not coming.

Ahh… I need me some Dongwoo’s contagious laugh to counter this sadness I felt.

I just found a new group to drool like a few months ago after one of Infinite member, Woohyun appeared on Immortal Classic 2. And they getting new popularity over their chart-topping song Be Mine.  I did notice Infinite during their BTD time because of their scorpion dance but that’s how far it went.  Since there so many group debuting each minute month, I stopping caring. They look, sounds and dresses alike ‘nway. *shrug*  The last group that I totally follow is Beast and that was few years back. Being a fan is tiring IMO. And now the cycle of liking a song-liking the group-finding a bias-buying album-stalking youtube start again with Infinite. Silly me, I fell right into their honey trap. Woolim doing a good job sending Woohyun to Immortal Classic 2.

I saw this article about CAP of Teen Top few days ago @ omonatheydidnt but didn’t read it because 1-not a Teen Top fan 2-busy  stalking JYJ official YouTube channel. I went on tumblr and shit is crazy over this, I was so confused.  I guess I need to read that post after all.

Damn… I cannot believed he actually said that. And WTF with mild reaction over his statement??? Okay, so the rest of Teen Top was surprised with his idiotic statement, but that is it??? If I were there, I might bitch-slap go crazy at him.  WTF with spoiling the son and hitting the daughter to make her obedient? Misogynist  much??? If CAP trying to funny he fell flat on that.

And what pissed me off even more is the fans that defend him. Seriously??? So, I guess this is the first Oppa-didn’t-mean-it shit for 2012 huh? And please don’t start using cultural differences shit on me, this is 21st century!! I really hate it when some idol saying stupid/sexist/racist  remark and got called for it, fans always use cultural differences as one of the excuse.  I’m Asian and it pissed me off.  Korean culture and mine have similarities so don’t go there.  I understand all about our Asian culture and whatnot. This one is straight up (future) child abuse to me.

There are certain thing you can defend your oppa but this is not one of them. Stop saying ‘it sounds harsh in English but not in Korean’, ‘it just cultural thing’ bla bla bla… Bitch please..

EXO-Kai

Looks like this Kai guy is SME new favorite since all I found is teasers of him dancing, pictures of him& pic of him with some guy other members. Kai is part of SME’s new groups EXO which will debut soon simultaneously in SK: EXO-K(ai) & China: EXO-M . Up until now the members that had been revealed are Kai, Chen and Luhan. What ever it is, all I see is Kai, Kai featuring some member whose face got blocked by Kai’s hand, Kai +other boys, Kai performance with SM artists, Kai solo teasers…Yup, I am sure EXO-K stand for EXO-Kai. Poor guy, he yet to debut and I already judge him. Kekekeke. SME always play favorites (classic example: Yoona, Teamin) but this Kai guy is really something else. At least Yoona just get extra screen time while the others are also present but EXO-K, just him and him alone.

Surely you’ve read it somewhere but here goes:

We reported earlier thatJYJ had been chosen as  the ‘Best Idol Star’ on KBS’s ’2011 Best Star Icon Award’ poll.

It seems the boys have just received their award from KBS.

A staff member from KBS uploaded a picture and tweeted, “Due to schedule ~ We went to find JYJ who was filming in Kangnam, and delivered the Best Icon Award. The three young men who are still spirited, lively, and cheerful as before. We even brought restorative herbal medicine so that they’ll eat and hang in there..”

In the picture uploaded, the JYJ members are seen holding their award and herbal medicine with pleased expressions on their faces.

The three young men who are still spirited, lively, and cheerful as before. Before when? Before you guys fucked up so bad on Jeju-incident? And , that is NOT a pleased expression, that a professional WTF expression. Just looked at Yoochun’s. Doesn’t they like: ‘uh..uh…gee..thanks, I guess, but you still fucked as hell.’ Yoochun is like ‘is this shit for real??’ I really really hope they laughing their fine assess off after KBS left.  And don’t drink that herbal whatever!!! I don’t think they need that tho since JYJ is endorsing Penzal Q.

If you really wants to appreciate them, hand that award at MuBank or something, then we can talk. Show that appreciation and recognition that they are IDOL STAR.  To find them at their commercial location, handed it over just like that, it had cheap publicity written all over it.  Why, afraid SME will mad at you if you invite them over ??? Pffftttt!!!

Kdrama year end review [picture heavy]

EDIT: I was supposed to post this before 2011 end.

2011 is coming to an end in 5 days. Looking back, I cannot believed that I watched a lot of dramas this year. Now I know where all my time went. kekekeke.

Overall, of all dramas that I had watched, I like 49 Days, Dream High, Girl K and Protect the Boss the most. But there are some dramas that I’m still watching which also good.

Kdramas that I watched are:

Smile again, Donghae (daily drama, 150+ episodes). Watched it, kinda regretted it but at least it introduced me to Ji Chang Wook & Lee Jang Woo. Standard daily drama fare. If you miss  few episodes, you still in the loop on what’s happening.

49 Days

Kang-ah!!!!! Oh, how I cry bucket watching this. and I still hate the ending. How cruel they make Jihyun collected 3 tears only to die at the end.  Love this one because of the storyline is not the typical Kdrama, so is the ending.  Even I not very happy with ending, I think it works well with this drama. Among my favorite drama of 2011.

Baby-faced beauty.  Just okay. Like it because of Daniel Choi’s character. I prefer Kim Min Seo as josoen giseang in SKKS but she still good in here.
City Hunter. Okay in my book, but I know this drama is so popular. I like the storyline & sometimes I think the supporting acts kinda steal the scene from main actor/actress. Lee Minho really like colorful skinny jeans in this.

Crime Squad. To have no memory that I watched it until I go through list of 2011 drama is not a good indication. I’m pretty sure I finished watching this. Such a waste on Song IlGook.

Dream High. Like this one & among my favorite this year.  The storyline is not new and I’m quite worry when it  first announced  the main casts as it consists a lot of  idols. And I’m not a fan of Teac in Cinderella’s sister. It was obvious that Kim SooHyun is the actor in this drama and he can sing too!! At some point I think he is a better singer than others which supposed to be a singer. Overall, this drama doesn’t take itself so seriously with enough dose of humor and drama and it works, for me at least. Let see whether Dream High 2 can bring similar success or not.

Girl K. Love it. Full with action and violent, probably because it was aired in cable TV.  It has good storyline with a smooth pace, probably because it only 3 episodes drama. Han Groo  is so good and believable as Yeon Jin and I  never know that she is a singer. She should switch job IMO. My only complaint is that the drama is so short with only 3 episodes.

Miss Ripley. Supposed to be based on real story about someone who fabricated her background education and things snowballed from there. It has fantastic casts but some had been sidelined in the middle of the drama, which irked me. And I wish Miri went all out and become anti-heroine but that just my wishful thinking. It is Kdrama after all.

Paradise Ranch. Oh, not matter how much I love Changmin, I cannot stop kicking  myself  for watching this. And I still don’t have the slightest idea why they got divorced in the first place.

Poseidon. Watched since I like Lee SiYoung but it bored me and that is not a good thing especially you supposed to be action/romance drama. Yunho should not act again. Just a few second of him makes me cringe so much.

Protect the boss. Like it but would definitely love it more if they didn’t extended the drama. I love how spunky the heroine is and for the first time ever in Kdrama (that I know of), they didn’t make the 2nd heroine a crazy, manipulative bitch.  I like how the combine all the cliché hero traits and makes it funny.

Currently watching:

Princess’ Man. I watched a few episodes and abandoned it and now pick it up again. The first few that I watched was good. No idea why I dropped it at the first place tho. They received good review and solid rating and I guess I just have to find time to finish it up.

Vampire Prosecutor. I like it. Just another 2 more episodes to finish it. The storyline, cast, pace – all good. And what not to like when you have Yun Jung Hoon in it?

Ojakgyo Brothers (weekend drama, 50+ (14 ep extension?). I’m quite skeptical when they announced Uee will be the main in this but since I love Joo Won since Baker King, I watched the 1st episode with little expectation, afraid to be disappointed.  I love it. Now, I totally LOVE IT and Uee, sorry for doubting your abilities. Up until episode 42, the writers manage to insert new twists and surprises and I can’t wait to watch the rest of the episode.

Brain. Still airing. So far so good. They picked the right actors/actress to play all those brain specialist cause they make it believable.  Quite a heavy drama.

Other dramas that I watched but not finished:

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. Watch it for few episodes but I didn’t like it.Too sugary? too light? No idea, just not my thing, I guess.

Glory Jane. I like it when it first started but then it fizzled. And I’m never a fan of makjang storyline anyway. Checked out after few episodes.

Spy Myungyol. The first few episodes was so so good I love it.  It was supposed to be about arrogant idol’s ass got kicked by NK spy who one of her job description is to disrupt Hallyu wave, and then they fell in love. But it went downhill so fast it makes my head spin. Not to mention the real life drama is way more interesting than the storyline. Too bad, it supposed to be Eric comeback drama (I HATE his hair in this!) and the storyline  sounds promising.

Romance Town. Just okay, I guess. All I remember is the gentle gangster/loan shark ajusshi.

Lie To Me.  A hot mess of clichés, obviously it won’t work. Such a waste since they cast Kang Ji Hwan and Yoon Eun Hye, which are good in rom-com.

You’ve fallen for me. Boring. I like Yong Hwa as a singer but as an actor, not so much.

 

There you have it. I think I included all dramas. Looking back, I really watched a lot of dramas this year. Hopefully I’ll be more picky next year but there are already few drama that I like to watch. Aishhhh…

I may do a Kpop review but we’ll see about that.

Kim Jong-il has died

The long time leader of North Korean, Kim Jong il has died today.  Special broadcast reported that he died due to heart ailment on a train due to a ‘great mental and physical strain’.   Following the death of Kim Jong il, South Korean military is on high alert. It is reported that his third son, Kim Jong Un will take over as a leader.   – credit to Yonghap News-

Wonder what will happen now. I asked my friend who is now residing in Seoul if there are any emergency whatever going on in SK but it seems that business is going as usual. However, as expected, everybody is talking about his death.  Hopefully nothing bad will happen.
